Our crew has been deployed to Spring Creek in Elko County to assist with the Oxley Fire in Northern Nevada as part of another strike team request. They are expected to be on deployment for up to 14 days to backfill stations while local crews are actively engaged in the wildfires. Stay safe and we will see you all back home soon!

Our crews were on the scene Monday evening after a commercial garage fire was reported around 9pm near Sunset and Boulder Highway.

Crews quickly contained the fire to the occupancy where it started and no injuries were reported.

We're grateful for the dedication and swift response of our firefighters who work to keep our community safe.

We hit the Colorado River for intensive swift water rescue training, sharpening the skills required to keep our community safe during flash flood emergencies. 🌊

With Southern Nevada’s monsoon season in full swing through September, heavy rain can quickly flood streets, parks, trails and washes, creating dangerous conditions within minutes. Remember never to walk or drive through floodwaters. Just six inches of moving water can knock a person off their feet, and even shallow water can sweep a vehicle away.

Stay safe this monsoon season; if you encounter floodwaters, remember: Turn Around, Don't Drown.

Our crew of four has returned after deploying to Truckee Meadows as part of the Bug Fire task force. Sent to support fire operations by backfilling Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue Station 33, crews ensured continuous protection and coverage for local residents while regional crews tackled the wildfire.
