đźš‘ Vance County EMS: Crisis Intervention Training
Members of Vance County EMS recently participated in a 40-hour Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) course to further strengthen their skills in recognizing, understanding, and responding to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
This training provides valuable tools to help our EMS providers better communicate with individuals in crisis, recognize behavioral health needs, and provide compassionate, effective, and appropriate care when it matters most.
At Vance County EMS, we are committed to continuous education and training to better serve the citizens of our community. We recognize that every call is different, and having the knowledge and skills to navigate challenging situations safely and compassionately makes a difference.
Thank you to everyone involved in providing this training and to our members for their continued dedication to professional growth and serving our community! đźš‘
