⚠ Community Message from the Henderson Police Dept. ⚠

"We need your help, Henderson❗

In the last 24 hours alone, the Henderson Police Department and the Henderson County Sheriff's Office have jointly responded to 22 motor vehicle accidents. 🚔

This number is far too high, and it means 22 incidents where someone's day was ruined.

As we get further into this month and next, the weather will get worse, so we are asking everyone to prioritize safety:

📌 SLOW DOWN: reduce your speed, especially in anticipation of wet or icy roads.
📌 PAY ATTENTION: Put the phone down. Focus 100% on the road and your surroundings. Distracted driving can have devastating consequences.
📌 INCREASE YOUR FOLLOWING DISTANCE: Give yourself extra time and space to stop.

We want everyone to make it home safely to their families.
