With 15 years in education, all in Vance County Schools, Mrs. Taylor teaches high school Biology, Earth Science, Physical Science, and Chemistry. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Elizabeth City State University and is passionate about helping students build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

Support them through challenges, encourage their growth, and help them reach their full potential.” Mrs. Taylor finds the greatest reward in watching students master challenging concepts and confidently share their knowledge with others. With 10 years in education and 7 years with Vance County Schools, Mr. Hairston teaches 5th Grade Science and Math and is passionate about fostering curiosity, discovery, and a lifelong love of learning. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Science Education from East Carolina University and believes some of the most meaningful learning happens when teachers and students explore questions together.
