Henrico Too Smart 2 Start Coalition is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that promotes health and wellness in Henrico County with a primary focus on reducing youth substance abuse through education, advocacy and capacity building. The TS2S coalition is a partnership among business public and prives agencies in Henrico County (Schools, Juvenile Justice, Law Enforcement, Health Department, YMCA), community leaders, parents and youth.

Make sure they know the rules—and know they can still call you.

Parents and caregivers can help prevent unsafe rides by setting clear expectations: no alcohol or drug use, no impaired driving, and no riding with an impaired driver.

Let your young person know they can call you or another trusted adult if a ride feels unsafe.

The first priority is helping them leave the situation and get home safely. The conversation can continue once they are safe.
