Graduation caps have been thrown, classes are out of session and summer has officially begun at Henrico County Public Schools, but students and families will have plenty of opportunities to stay engaged with their school communities during the 2026 HCPS Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Summer Tour! βοΈ
Beginning June 17, HCPS Family & Community Engagement will be delivering community-building festivities and valuable summer resources to several locations across Henrico County. Each stop will include a block party atmosphere with music, games, activities, books, the HCPS Mobile Resource Center, giveaways and invaluable resources to support students in school and their families at home. Joining in the fun at each stop will be school division staff, teachers and administrators from nearby schools, interpreters, community members and partnering organizations.
This yearβs FACE Summer Tour consists of five primary stops across Henrico County. The summer fun will culminate with the 2026 Back-to-School Kickoff on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Henrico Sports & Events Center, which will bring plenty of excitement ahead of the first week of the 2026-27 school year.
