The District Clerk’s office will temporarily suspend the acceptance of passport applications on Friday, April 10, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Other locations for this service are the Bowie post office, the downtown Wichita Falls post office and the Wichita County Clerks office.

The District Clerk's office will be closed Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. day.
This is a 97th District Court holiday and may not affect other county offices.

The District Clerk's office will NEVER contact you by phone and demand payment for contempt of court for missing jury duty.

This is a SCAM.
We will not ask you to purchase gift cards or pre-paid credit cards for fees or fines.
