Volunteer firefighters protect our rural communities every day, often with limited funding and resources!

Equipping just one firefighter with proper wildland gear can cost $1,300–$2,100+, and that lifesaving equipment must be replaced regularly due to wear and expiration.

When you give to the WFACF Volunteer Fire Department Fund, you help ensure our local departments have the gear, training, and supplies they need to respond safely and effectively.

The wildfires over the past year have really taken a toll on our equipment and pocketbook.
It's never what you want to see after a long day battling flames, but that's the reality when you're pushing your gear through the brutal terrain we've faced this season.
Big shout-out to Mikes Towing Service WF for coming out today to pick up our truck, and to all the many volunteers who stepped up to help with the fires. We couldn't do it without you all.
