We are excited to introduce the newest addition to our department’s fleet.

This purchase was made possible through the generous support of the Texas A&M Forest Service and funding provided through the 2604 Grant Program. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue improving the resources available to better serve our community.

While this unit is not yet fully complete, we are currently working to equip it with a dual-purpose skid unit for the bed. This setup will include a water tank and firefighting capabilities for rapid wildland fire response, along with a designated area for a Stokes basket, allowing us to safely transport patients from remote or hard-to-access locations during rescue operations.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to HE Powersports for working with us throughout this process and helping make this incredible addition possible.

We are very fortunate to continue building our department’s capabilities and improving the service we provide to our community.

If you are one of the many residents in our county who monitors our EMS radio channel, we ask that you ensure your radio is not transmitting unintentionally due to background noise or improper use. Unnecessary transmissions can tie up the channel and interfere with communications between emergency responders, dispatchers, and medical personnel. Keeping the channel clear helps ensure critical information can be communicated quickly and effectively during emergencies.

At 10:25 this morning units alongside Jolly VFD, we're toned to a possible semi fire located at the Henrietta truck stop. Units got on scene quickly and kept the fire from spreading to the trailer.

At 2:27 pm units were toned to a grass fire off of Prairie Flower Rd. Units got on scene to a slow moving fire around 5 acres. Quick knock and calm winds kept this fire from getting out of hand.

At 3:15 p.m., units were toned alongside Bellevue VFD, Jolly VFD, Lake Arrowhead VFD, and Ringgold VFD to multiple grass fires. While en route, crews noticed a camper on fire in front of Roma’s. Henrietta then responded with an engine and multiple brush trucks to extinguish 6–8 grass fires along Highway 82.

As always, this is a reminder that it is the law to slow down and move over when you see emergency vehicles.

Crews are working a vehicle fire near Klein rd on HWY 287 NB. Traffic is backed up and please give our crews the space needed and drive slow through the scene.

This past weekend, our Henrietta team was proud to support the 35th Annual Brisket Dinner Fundraiser benefiting the Henrietta VFD! We were honored to present a $5,000 donation to help purchase the briskets that fed more than 1,100 community members at this family‑friendly event. Stefanie Forester, Branch Manager, AVP; JaDin Willis, Personal Banker, and Jack Herring, Commercial Lender, AVP, had the pleasure of presenting the check directly to the volunteer firefighters who work so hard to keep the Henrietta community safe.
