I’ve shared pics in the past but not really an update. We are still working on the Caretaker’s house at Nichols Park, I still mow the lawn every chance I get . The next step is electrical.
I have close to 5,000 left in the Nichols Park Restoration committee account. I will be using that for the restroom toilets and vanities. The rest will go towards furnishing as many of the appliances as I can get for the kitchen area. I’m also donating a 3 bin commercial sink to the house.
I haven’t held a fundraiser in quite a while and I need to .
I just wanted to check in with everybody and let you know where we are at.

Oh! I almost forgot we did meet with the Oklahoma dept of Commerce and they are actively searching for ways to help support our project .

Well, it’s just almost kayakin season at Nichols Park ,Henryetta Ok. This is a great new feature for our park so please help us take care if it.
Be sure when you rent that you get everything back in the cage when you finish. The renter is responsible for the equipment .
Be safe! Wear your life jacket and enjoy!

Been a minute since we took a pic of this old house. We’re working on getting power back out to the house so we can do some more work . Stay tuned and we’ll be sure and post more pics as progress is made. Thank you all for your continued support!!

The question was asked, what about the bathrooms?
Well, we have started on the two small bathrooms on the south side of the lake. We plan on getting them all but it will take time. Progress just never progresses fast enough!! It sure is a good feeling knowing we’re headed in the right direction!!
