‼️ Labor Day Sanitation schedule‼️

The City Sanitation crew will be off Monday, September 7th to celebrate Labor Day. Monday and Tuesday routes will run Tuesday, September 8th. To ensure proper service, please have polycarts at the road and clear of any obstacles such as low hanging trees mailboxes, cars, basketball goal, and other polycarts. Thank you

The Water Maintenance Crew will be repairing a water main this morning at 11th and Division. If you live on/or around Division between 7th and 13th, you may experience low water pressure and/or discolored water. The
repair will be completed today.

The Water Maintenance Crew is currently working a leak that will affect the New Lake Rd area east of the turnpike. The leak has been ongoing since last night. If you live in this area you will probably experience low water pressure and/or discolored water. The repair should be completed in the next couple of hours.

The water leak located at Antes and Bollinger has been repaired. If you are still without water please report the outage to the Henryetta Police Department non emergency number @ (918) 652-3691.

There has been some questions arise on why the driveway at the original entrance to the cemetery is still closed. During construction a dump truck turned into this drive collapsing the aging culvert. Plans are in place to update that with a new pipe and re concrete the entrance to make it look nice. Concrete work is more labor intensive and the honest answer is we are waiting for it to cool off to complete. During spring and summer months Street department staff is spread out, we lose one guy to a brush hog until grass quits growing and another usually in a truck keeping materials stockpiled. That leaves us with two guys normally to fill the gaps in normal duties.

The road cut at Nichols Park entrance was repaired with hot asphalt today. The remaining asphalt was then spread at the entrance to the Rodeo arena. This road cut was necessary to place a sleeve under the road to allow adequate water to the campsites. Work should begin after Labor Day installing new water line to the campsites.
