Today the Windham VFW Post 1545 held their annual Memorial Day Dedication services at several locations including Windham Ashland Jewett Central School, the Sgt. James F. Carty Memorial, the Windham Wall of Honor Memorial, and the gravestone of H. Winchell.
Many of our local veterans participated in the dedication today alongside students, Windham Town Hall representatives, neighbors, and friends. Services were led by past commanders Marc Farmilette, Ronny De Long, and Jason Gardinier. The bugle was played by Richard Fournier and Lynn Farmilette spoke on behalf of the Ladies Auxiliary.

We are so grateful to our local Veterans for their contributions to our country and community and we honor and mourn all military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Wishing everyone a safe and commemorative Memorial Day weekend from the Town of Windham!
