Sharing from Pevely Elementary for anyone who may need this resource this evening. Please see their post below for storm shelter information. Stay weather aware.

We will open our FEMA Storm Shelter at Pevely Elementary School at 5pm for members of the community. Please enter the back of the building located at 30 Main Street in Pevely, MO. The entire third-grade wing, including the classrooms, was built to withstand a tornado. Bring a water bottle and snacks if needed.

⚠️ Weather Update ⚠️

Due to inclement weather and out of an abundance of caution, Herculaneum City Hall will be closing today at 3:30 PM.

City staff will continue to monitor conditions, with additional emergency personnel and Public Works crews on standby to respond to downed limbs or blocked roadways as needed.

If severe weather moves into our area, please make sure you know the safest place in your home to take shelter. Stay alert, stay prepared, and stay safe.

Road Closure Notice – McNutt School Road

McNutt School Road will be closed Wednesday, April 15th beginning at approximately 9:00 AM to allow for work at the new entrance to Kensington.

The closure is expected to last about 5.5 to 6.5 hours.

We are coordinating closely with the Police and Fire Departments as well as the Festus School District to ensure emergency access is maintained and bus routes are able to run as scheduled.

If you typically travel this route, please plan ahead and use an alternate route during the closure window.
