⚔️ Territory dispute in progress!

These two male Arizona Woodpeckers followed each other from tree to tree, spiraling down the trunks as each tried to claim their ground. During territorial confrontations, woodpeckers may chase, circle, call, and display rather than immediately fight.

We’re currently going through an unbelievable 5 GALLONS of hummingbird nectar every single day! 😳 That’s a whole lot of tiny, hungry travelers stopping by to fuel up. 🌸
