This summer, our Academic Director invested in the heart of our school by completing a week-long intensive Conscious Discipline training!

Conscious Discipline is more than a behavior program, it’s a relationship centered approach that helps children develop emotional regulation, problem-solving skills, and a true sense of safety and belonging.

The learning doesn’t stop there! Beginning Monday, she will be leading training with our entire Sky Island staff so that we can continue building a school culture rooted in connection, compassion, and lifelong social-emotional skills.

We are so excited to bring these tools into our classrooms and continue growing alongside our students and families! Here’s to another year of learning, connection, and joyful growth!

We had such a great turnout for our service day over the weekend! Thank you to everyone who came out to help remove heavy artificial turf, dead juniper trees, and old building materials from the agricultural area. And thank you to everyone who painted, dug tree holes, hauled and spread compost, and moved logs! The beautification of our school is well underway thanks to our incredible community!
