Part-Time Resident Manager Opportunity

Golden Age Homes in Herington, KS, is seeking a professional, organized, and community-focused Part-Time Resident Manager to contribute to our Project-Based Section 8 housing community, serving low-income residents.

Responsibilities for this position encompass resident support, rent and deposit collection, work order processing and dispatch, facilitating resident communications, and orchestrating resident activities, events, and educational presentations designed to enhance housing stability and overall quality of life.

We are seeking an individual who thrives in interpersonal interactions, demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, communicates with professionalism, and is committed to fostering a secure, inclusive, and engaged resident community.

Preferred qualifications include experience in affordable housing, resident services, property management, customer service, activity coordination, or community outreach.

Golden Age Homes is seeking a dependable Maintenance Contractor!
Golden Age Homes, a 24-unit project-based Section 8 property situated in Herington, KS, is currently soliciting proposals from experienced maintenance contractors. Our objective is to ensure the continued safety, functionality, and welcoming atmosphere of our community for all residents.

The selected contractor will be responsible for a range of duties, including general maintenance repairs, responding to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as required, unit turnover procedures, timely completion of work orders, and maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with residents and staff.

Contractors are expected to commit a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week to Golden Age Homes, with the potential for additional hours based on operational needs.
