This morning, members of the Herkimer Fire Department teamed up with the Little Falls Fire Department and Ilion Fire Department to participate in a game against the Mohawk Valley Challengers.

It was an honor for the men to be part of this event, and everyone had an enjoyable time. Thank you to the Challengers for the invitation, and best of luck to you for the remainder of your season!

Today was about more than running a 5K.
Jimmy Edwards and Pat Edwards proudly represented the Herkimer Fire Department at the Tunnel to Towers Run alongside Team Ashley from the Ilion Fire Department.
We ran in honor and memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and for the families and loved ones who continue to carry their loss. As firefighters, we understand the meaning of brotherhood, sacrifice, and never forgetting those who gave everything.
Proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters from Ilion Fire Department and to be part of Team Ashley.

Congratulations, Gentlemen! 🚒
Deputy Chief Timothy Hartman and Lieutenant Robert Davenport recently completed the New York State FLSTP (First Line Supervisors Training Program), conducted at the New York City Fire Department (FDNY).
Alongside officers from fire departments throughout New York State, they participated in an intensive program designed to strengthen their supervisory abilities and build upon their experience as fire officers.
The FLSTP curriculum focuses on supervisory knowledge and leadership skills, tactical decision-making, and hands-on operational exercises — all essential tools for today’s fire service leaders.
We are proud of the commitment both officers have demonstrated to professional development and to continuing to better serve our department and community.
