We are looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals to help safely transport our students and serve our Bearcat community.

Positions Available:
Full-Time Route Bus Driver
Activity Bus Drivers
Substitute Bus Drivers
Special Needs Transportation Driver – approximately 5 hours per day

Free and Reduced Lunch forms were mailed to families and need to be returned to your child’s building or mailed back by September 30, 2026.

Even if you’re unsure whether your family qualifies, we encourage you to complete and return the form. 📝

Completing these forms allows for continued funding of vital programs for our students.

We were notified by the City of Hermann that the boil order has been lifted. We will continue to have bottled water available for the rest of the day, and students will be able to take bottles of water on the buses this afternoon.

Thank you to the City of Hermann for keeping us updated and working with us to allow the district to continue normal operations. Special thanks to our friends at Calvin's Distributing for getting us water bottles from their warehouse!

✅ BOIL ORDER IS LIFTED
Effective August 31, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

DNR has officially lifted the Boil Order for the City of Hermann.

Residents may resume normal water usage, including drinking, cooking, food preparation, and brushing teeth without boiling water.

The boil order remains in effect for the City of Hermann. The school will have extra bottled water on hand tomorrow.

Boil Order Update: The Boil Order remains in effect.
Unfortunately, after Thursday’s negative test, Friday’s test results for the problematic residence came back negative for E. Coli but positive on the Bac-T test. Although a positive Bac-T test does not require a boil order, it does not count as a clean test; therefore, DNR continues to require the boil order.
The last positive E. Coli test was from a water sample taken on Friday, August 21, and was isolated to one residence. The City was notified of the positive test on Monday, August 24. All other testing sites, including wells and tanks have always been E. Coli and Bac-T free. The affected residence was discovered through the City’s monthly rotating sample test program.
We continue flushing hydrants in order to raise chlorine residuals. DNR has asked us to take multiple chlorine samples over the weekend, and if they are satisfied with the ranges, maybe there will be good news Monday. Today’s chlorine tests were in range of the DNR request.
We regret the huge inconvenience, but we thank the community for bearing up under these circumstances.
