What a summer of reading! 📚☀️💚

Our 2026 Summer Reading Program was a HUGE success, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing readers and families! 🎉

📚 230 children & teens participated
🎉 29 programs offered
⏱️ 208,395 minutes read — that’s 3,473 hours!
👏 1,483 children, teens & adults attended programs

From storytimes and crafts to STEAM activities, special events, and plenty of reading, you helped make this summer one to remember! 💚

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who participated, attended programs, encouraged a young reader, or supported the Library this summer. We’re already looking forward to another great Summer Reading adventure next year! 🚀📖

Experience the stories, songs, and traditions of the people who shaped our region—from Indigenous communities and early settlers to the hardworking men and women of the industrial era. Along the way, you'll enjoy fascinating stories, live music, audience participation, and plenty of opportunities to sing along!

Whether you're a history buff, a music lover, or simply looking for a fun evening, this interactive program is sure to entertain and inspire.
