We celebrated the Groundbreaking of Umatilla County Housing Authority's Liberty Village - a housing development dedicated to supporting homeless Veterans in need. The timing, just ahead of Memorial Day weekend, made the occasion especially meaningful.

Thank you to the city officials, Chamber Board Members, community members, media representatives, and veteran support organizations who joined us to recognize and support this important project.

We look forward to witnessing the success of Liberty Village and are proud to live in a community who truly takes care of their own.

Yesterday, we celebrated Edward Jones- Financial Advisor: Devin Bailey with a Ribbon Cutting at his office, followed by an Open House at The Chamber - and wow, what an afternoon it was 🎀✂️🙌🏼

Guests enjoyed celebrating Devin, who recently began a new career as a financial advisor. We learned more about his services, enjoyed lunch from Ye Olde Pizza Shoppe, and spent time networking with one another. To wrap up the event, Devin and his lovely wife hosted a giveaway featuring three beautifully curated baskets filled with coffee, treats, and other thoughtful goodies.

Special thanks to the Mayor, City Councilors & our Board of Directors who showed up to support, as well as the media, and many of our members, both of the Chamber & the community. We appreciate you showing up for us and our members again and again ❤️

We’re saddened to share that our Chamber radio show has come to an end due to circumstances beyond our control at the station. We’re incredibly grateful for the time we’ve shared with KOHU, Delish Bistro, and the many members who joined us week after week to highlight their businesses. And to our listeners - thank you for being part of something so special.

While this chapter is closing, our commitment to supporting and connecting our business community remains as strong as ever. We’re looking ahead to new opportunities, including expanded resource lunches, new tools like member brand kits, and a refreshed monthly newsletter, along with more ways to stay engaged and connected. Thank you for continuing to support us and grow with us.

For five years, Tuesday mornings with Angela on KOHU became something I looked forward to every single week. It was never just a radio show; it was connection, friendship, and a shared love for this community. Angela is truly one of a kind, and I adore her deeply. This is a chapter I will carry with me always, one I will revisit often with a full and grateful heart.
