Sandy's Home provides care and companionship for adults who need assistance and supervision during the day. Our facility offers relief to family members or caregivers and allows them the freedom to go to work, handle personal business or just relax while knowing their loved one is cared for and safe. The goals of our program are to delay or prevent institutionalization by providing alternative car

e, to enhance self-esteem and to encourage socialization. As an adult daycare we provide social activities, meals, recreation and some health related services. Your loved one would generally take part in the program on a scheduled basis and the services offered would include: supervision, rest periods if desired, medication management, evening and weekend care, dietician approved meals and snacks, recreation and stimulating activities, socialization, personal care support such as assistance with toileting, personal hygiene etc...Sandy's Home helps to prevent caregiver burnout. Respite services can delay or prevent nursing home placement. We encourage our clients to participate in the daily operation of our home. Such as menu and activity planning and set-up. This gives clients a sense of purpose, retains dignity as well as self-respect. Sandy's Home enables working family caregivers to remain in the labor force, which helps them and their families remain financially secure. Sandy's
Home provides this care and services for any adult over the age of 18! The developmentally delayed, physically handicapped, seniors with or without memory impairment and all Veterans are welcome!!
