Take Me Out to the Tri-City Dust Devils Game!

Last Friday, our team and their families stepped up to the plate for an evening of food, fun, and baseball at Gesa Stadium in Tri-Cities. From enjoying dinner on Dusty's Patio to cheering on the Tri-City Dust Devils, the night was packed with great memories and team spirit. Some of our youngest UEC fans had the chance to meet Dusty himself and take part in the "Dusty Dash," adding to the excitement before the evening wrapped up with an incredible fireworks show.

We appreciate our employees every day and could not serve our members without the passion, dedication, and hard work they bring to the job. This team makes Umatilla Electric shine - on and off the field.

Pole Inspections Underway in the Hermiston Area

Beginning today and continuing over the next several weeks, contract crews working on behalf of Umatilla Electric Cooperative will be conducting routine utility pole inspections throughout the Hermiston area.

Crews will be working Monday through Friday and may need to access poles located on members' properties. When access to fenced or backyard areas is required, the contractor will attempt to contact the homeowner before entering whenever possible.

These inspections are an important part of maintaining the reliability and safety of UEC's electric system.

If you have questions or concerns about inspection activities near your property, please contact UEC at 541-567-6414.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to maintain a safe and reliable electric system.

Reliable, affordable energy matters to the communities we serve. As a member-owned cooperative, Umatilla Electric Cooperative is committed to advocating for policies that protect grid reliability and help keep electricity costs manageable for our member-owners.

Proposed changes to operations at the Columbia and Snake River dams could impact the availability of dependable hydropower across the Pacific Northwest. We encourage an open and transparent conversation about decisions that affect Oregon’s energy future, reliability, and affordability.

A recent court decision, stemming from litigation supported by Governor Kotek, will change the operations of the hydroelectric dams on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. These changes will increase rates and decrease the reliability of Oregon’s electric grid, affecting families and communities.
