Markie Scholz brought her Dragons Are Too Seldom puppet theater to Hermosa and performed a wonderful puppet show for us in the lower level of the Hermosa Library/ Hermosa Town Office building. After the show, she helped us create our own puppets!

We enjoyed a wonderful program provided by the artist Dick Termes at the Hermosa American Legion today. It was fascinating to hear how he conceives and creates his Termespheres. After his program, he treated us to a workshop on geometric shapes and how they can be extended into new shapes. If you missed this program today, go to his gallery in Spearfish.... it's going to be one of my trips this summer for sure!

The Hermosa Library and the Hermosa Senior Citizens Meals are pleased to host this event with the world’s leading spherical artist. Mr. Termes will bring a sampling of his Termespheres and discuss his career and process on Tuesday, May 12, at 1 pm after the senior meals at the Hermosa American Legion. This event is sponsored by the South Dakota State Arts Council.
