💧 WATER MAIN BREAK – THOUSAND OAKS & JAYBIRD

The City of Hernando Public Works Department is currently responding to a water main break in the area of Thousand Oaks and Jaybird Road.

Public Works crews are on site and working to make repairs as quickly as possible. Residents in the surrounding area may experience low water pressure or a temporary interruption in water service while repairs are underway.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to restore normal service.

Last night, Mayor Chip Johnson and the Board of Aldermen presented a Community Service Award to Jennifer Pacileo of Southern Pediatric Therapy. Not only do they actively serve our community with their pediatric therapy services for children from birth to age 21 (and are building a beautiful new facility on Byhalia Rd. near I-55), but they also have contributed directly to the well-being of our young people in the community. They installed adaptive playground equipment in Church Park, created a STEM Lab at Hernando Intermediate, Rising Stars Sports Camp, annual Trunk or Treat, Bike Camp and Bicycle Safety Village, and partnership with Hernando Parks for Challenger Soccer for special needs children (among other contributions). Jennifer also serves on the Board of Directors for the Hernando Chamber of Commerce. Thank you for your service!
