We were honored to welcome our newest teacher all the way from Jamaica! 🇯🇲🍎

Principal DeSmyter had the pleasure of meeting Tamara Duncan and welcoming her to the Floris family. She’ll be teaching 5th grade and brings a wealth of classroom experience, passion, and enthusiasm. We know Ms. Duncan be a wonderful addition to our school community, and we can’t wait for our students to meet her!

It takes a special kind of strength to be a military child, and at Floris, we are lucky enough to have some of the best! 💜

By wearing purple—the color that symbolizes all branches of the military coming together—we’re letting our military students know they have a whole community standing behind them.

Want to support a great cause AND have a great night?! Come to movie night on Friday, brought to you by our student-run Money Jar club. Proceeds will go towards providing a catered meal to our next door neighbors, the Fire Department!

Help us spread kindness this Thanksgiving by donating canned or non-perishable foods to our Feed the Turkey Food Drive, hosted by The Money Jar Club!
Drop off your donations in the turkey box at the front office or bring them to the Spirit Ball on Friday! Let’s come together to make sure every family has a full plate this holiday season. 💛
