As an organization, we work towards building self-sufficiency in the individuals and families that we support. If a person has fallen, we want to provide services and support to help them get back on their feet and stay well.
Consequently, we aim to take a holistic approach to all we do. To achieve this mission, we’ve aligned our work to the spirit of Zakat, which in its literal and simplest meaning is purity. We seek to address and support the whole person— from their immediate physical needs to gain skills for a prosperous future.

These days she enjoys time with her husband Ralph, 3 children, and 5 grandchildren plus 2 Toastmasters clubs and lots of friends. She keeps busy with the Foundation for Appropriate, Immediate, Temporary Help (FAITH) and with Ikram Foundation (another non-profit in the area). FAITH has been able to help 18,437 clients to access healthy nutritious food options, clothing, rental assistance, medical services and so much more. Your support has made a difference to our charity and allows us to deliver our service to an increasing number of people. The benefactors of your contributions were widows with children, orphans, refugees and the elderly and with FAITH’s holistic approach to many individuals going from in-need to self-sufficiency, which is the goal of Zakat. www.FAITHus.org
