On Saturday and Sunday I was able to place 22 flags honoring my military ancestors. It took 12 hours of my time but it was definitely worth it! I have now been placing these flags for my ancestors for over 30 years and I hope and pray someone from my family will continue this tradition. Lastly, I forgot to display the gravestone of Pvt. Joseph McCormick who served in Utterback's artillery company, a unit from Fauquier County, Virginia. Joseph, Robert and their brother William all served in Virginia units.

Peyton Anderson who all served fighting for Virginia in the Civil War and a photo of myself at the grave of our Revolutionary War ancestor Pvt. Elijah Anderson. All are buried in Rappahannock County, Virginia. I also was able to stop at the graves of Corporal Robert McCormick and Pvt. Elijah Anderson who also fought for Virginia in the Civil War.
