Questions regarding information should be directed to the building principal of an individual school or to the superintendent's office for district-wide information. The district reserves the right to review all comments and may remove comments which:
• Are profane, vulgar, harmful to minors or obscene
• Contain threats or contain personal attacks on individuals in the school community
• Promote, suggest, or encourage illegal activity or incite violence
• Promote or endorse commercial products, services or business
• Contain information the district is required to keep confidential (particularly pertaining to student or staff information
• Contain false or libelous statements
• Contain hate speech directed at a protected class of individuals
• Are spam in nature (for example, the same comment posted repeatedly)

The Derry Township Police Department is accepting applications for part-time School Crossing Guards to help students travel safely to and from Derry Township schools.

Crossing guards assist students at designated crossings, help manage traffic within school zones, support the safe movement of school vehicles and report unsafe or suspicious activity.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, possess a valid driver’s license and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Derry Township School District is seeking an experienced, collaborative leader to serve as our Director of Transportation. This position oversees the District’s in-house transportation operation, including its fleet of propane-powered school buses and dedicated team of District-employed drivers. Responsibilities include managing bus operations and maintenance, coordinating routes and schedules, supervising transportation staff, and ensuring safe, reliable service for students. The Director of Transportation also serves as a key member of the District’s leadership team.

Fall sports are back, and it’s time to celebrate our Trojans! Join us this Thursday, August 27, at 6:30 p.m. as we introduce our incredible fall sports teams, marching band, cheerleaders and color guard. Additionally, we will welcome the community into the new HHS Stadium for the first time!

🚧 Campus Walking Route Update

Families were informed last week about updated student walking routes related to the Elementary School construction project. We also want to make our broader community aware, as these changes may affect those who use our campus walking paths during the day.

For everyone’s safety, community members are encouraged to avoid the area during peak student arrival and dismissal times:

Secondary: 7:00–7:45 a.m. & 2:15-2:45 p.m.
Elementary: 8:15–9:00 a.m. & 3:20-3:50 p.m.

Please follow posted signage, use designated routes and stay clear of fenced construction areas. Walking routes may continue to change as the project progresses.
