Derry Township Public Works has been working hard, trying to keep up with clearing the streets of snow since the inception of this snow storm. At some point, they will need to give their crews a much needed rest. We are urging motorists to stay home and stay off the roadways. Unless you have an essential need to drive somewhere and you have a capable vehicle, you are putting yourself and First Responders at risk when you travel in this type of weather and these types of road conditions. Be safe through the rest of this weather event and we will do our best to help you.

Last check on the website indicated appointments for the blood drive event were filled!

Blood donations are in high demand right now and it is one way to help your community. Mike dedicated his life, both in the Army and with our police department, to public service.

Thousands died in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. 71 Police Officers perished that day while attempting to do their sworn duties to serve others. In the years since that day, over 300 more Law Enforcement Officers have died as a direct result of their roles in the aftermath of 9/11. Remember and never forget.
