Summer Reading Kickoff 2026 was a prehistoric blast!!!!
More pics to come on Monday . If you didn’t get a chance to register for summer reading, stop by the library and check at the front desk.
Our life size board game “Dino Land” will be in the library until August .

🚀 What an incredible day at our Summer STEAM Job Fair yesterday! Our students got real, hands-on experience by rotating through 5 amazing career simulations:

🤖 Coding: Students programmed a robot to navigate a maze and reach the X mark!

🕵️ Word Analysis: Teams cracked linguistic clues to decode hidden words.

🏗️ Engineering: Young builders followed blueprints to construct sturdy log buildings.

🎨 Sketch Artist: One student described a character while others drew and guessed it.

📸 Photography: Every student took on a unique crew role to snap the perfect shot.

🌍✈️ Around the World in One Day! ✈️🌍

Our Perquimans County Library Summer STEAM adventurers (Grades 1–6) had an incredible time yesterday exploring some of the world's most iconic wonders!

Our young travelers "visited" and learned amazing facts about:
-The Great Wall of China
-The Eiffel Tower in France
-The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt
-The Taj Mahal in India

We discovered the incredible history and engineering behind each destination using a little imagination and STEAM power!
