🍉 Sample Alert! 🍉
On Friday, we had the opportunity to treat groups of students at Krystal, Cottonwood, and Topaz to something extra special—sweet, organic dragon fruit! 💗🐉
This unique fruit was locally grown and generously sourced from Old Grove Farms in Redlands, CA. Our students were so excited to see and taste something new! Some had enjoyed dragon fruit before, while others were trying it for the very first time. 🌱✨
We’re excited to continue visiting different schools throughout the year to introduce students to fresh, locally grown produce and give them the chance to discover new fruits and vegetables!

Did you know? Breakfast and lunch are FREE for all HUSD students!

Start your day with a delicious breakfast entrée and fresh fruit, then join us again at lunch for a variety of nutritious entrées, fresh fruits, and colorful vegetable options. Eating school meals is a great way to fuel your body, stay energized, and be ready to learn.
