Oak Hills High School graduate Robert "Bobby" Bracamontes recently brought down the house at graduation. Bobby gave an unforgettable speech about his journey with autism. He got a huge standing ovation from the entire stadium by inspiring everyone to "keep moving forward!" Bobby shared his HUSD journey, which included:

Mastering Music: Bobby joined the Bulldog Brigade marching band and learned to play an incredible 11 different percussion instruments!

Winning Medals: His hard work helped lead the band to back-to-back silver medals over the last two years.

Real-World Confidence: Playing music in front of huge crowds gave Bobby the bravery to stand at the podium and speak to thousands of people.

Bobby credits his success to his family, friends, and awesome HUSD staff. Coaches like Coach Locklear and Coach Monica kept him grounded with humor and lots of support. Join us in celebrating Bobby and the incredible staff at Oak Hills High School! It's a great day to be a Bulldog!

🩺 Big News from HUSD CTE!

Let's give a massive shoutout to the 16 HUSD students who just completed the Pathways to Medicine Program at the California University of Science and Medicine! These amazing students were officially recognized at yesterday's school board meeting. 🎉

🧠 Real-World & Hands-On Learning

For the past five months, these students stepped out of the regular classroom and jumped straight into the medical world. They didn't just read about healthcare in textbooks, they got to experience it firsthand! Here is some of the awesome work they did:

Hands-On Experience: Gained valuable, practical skills used by real medical professionals.

Scientific Research: Conducted their own research and learned how to solve real-world problems.

Career Exploration: Explored different types of jobs in medicine to plan for their futures.

🌟 We Are So Proud!

Their hard work, curiosity, and dedication show exactly what Hesperia students can do. They did a wonderful job representing our community and our top-notch Career Technical Education (CTE) programs.

We can't wait to see where their journeys take them next. Congratulations to our future healthcare heroes! 👏👏
