The Raven’s Nest had a visitor for a podcast on Sept 22, 2026. Mrs. Poindexter has been an educator for over 32 years. It was in 2023 that Mrs. Poindexter opened H.E.I.R. Cafe, which represents Health, Empowerment, Inspiration, and Renewal. This business was opened partially as a way to offer additional assistance within the community. The idea is to provide a safe, comfortable (and stylish) place for people to take care of themselves and recharge. Providing an outlet for people to celebrate birthdays, graduations, family get-togethers, etc. is a focus of the business. It is her goal to provide a relaxing place to inspire and continue to improve the quality of life for members of the community.
