September is Library Card Sign-Up Month

No matter what your tastes are, a library card hits all the right notes! Check out a classic story or hit shuffle and try something new. Find harmony at your library’s book clubs, Storytimes, and crafting classes. A headphone kind of day? Find your focus at a study table or vibe out in a cozy nook. Compose your future with new language-learning skills or check out puzzles and games in the Library of Things. No matter what rhythm you find yourself in, there’s a seat in the front row at the library for you. This September, B sharp, and sign up for a library card!

If you are a resident of Heyworth Public Library District, visit us to get your library card and take advantage of this wonderful community resource. You will need a photo ID and a proof of address. Children, 3 - 17, can receive a library card with a parent or guardian who also has a card. Replacement card fees will be waived in September.

Update: Pallet is gone. We still have the metal shelf that would also be good for scrap.

We have a pallet by the front door from a delivery we received today. It’s free to anyone who wants it. There is also a metal shelf by the back fence (35 inches long). It is also free.
