If you have recently had storm damage, please look at the McLean County Emergency Management Agency page. There is a link that you can report damage to. This will help the county potentially be deemed a disaster area and could help us get funding to fix damage.

This book was found on 8/21/26 on Cleveland St. If anyone is missing it stop by Heyworth Village Hall and it will be in the front office.

Ameren just called Village Hall to tell us that they will be doing some gas main and service work next week that will involve intermittent road closures.

The areas affected will be Hilton Drive, Randolph and Magnolia. Please remain cautious in this area.

Citizens - be on the lookout -

We had a young man show up here at Village Hall asking to view our Ameren bill to make sure that we were not being overcharged. He was questioned as the Village is the unit that chooses the supplier for the Village. This individual became pushy. We turned him away. This is an attempt to solicit for an energy supplier. Neither this individual nor his company have a permit to solicit in the Village; Chief Jones is looking for him now. It would be our recommendation that you not engage with this individual and contact the Heyworth Police Department if he arrives on your doorstep.

What a beating the region took from the storms over the weekend!

Unfortunately, the trail at Centennial Park will be out of commission for the foreseeable future. The rest of the park is back open for your enjoyment.
