CAPCANA BARREL Palm Beach, Florida

This beautiful home was recently featured in Architectural Digest. While the exteriors are fantastic, the maximalist interior design of this home is stunning. So many colors, patterns and textures!

Our Capacana barrel tile looks fantastic here and the owners will enjoy this beautiful roof for decades. In this Palm Beach neighborhood few people cut corners or go with the cheapest option. A stroll the neighborhood looks like a walk through our brochure.

Metal roofing may be adequate for chicken coops but the finest homes in America use Grade 1 clay roof tile.

Clay is forever.

JACOBEA SPANISH S, Coconut Grove Florida.

The above residence (3700 Hibiscus Street, Miami, Fl) possesses considerable architectural significance as it was built by Richard Kiehnel, a pioneering architect whose influence was instrumental in shaping the architectural character of South Florida during the early twentieth century. Constructed in 1921, the house embodies the Mediterranean-inspired design traditions that came to define the region's most distinguished residential architecture during a pivotal period of growth and development.

Kiehnel's work is notable for its thoughtful adaptation of classical and Mediterranean precedents to South Florida's climate and cultural context. Through careful attention to proportion, massing, and craftsmanship, he helped establish an architectural language that conveyed permanence, beauty, and regional identity.

His importance to the architectural history of Florida is reflected in a body of work that includes such landmarks as Coral Gables Congregational Church, Carrollton's El Jardin, Scottish Rite Temple, and the original campus buildings of University of Miami. These commissions helped define the visual identity of South Florida during its formative decades and established Kiehnel as one of the region's most accomplished architects.

Reflecting the same commitment to proportion, craftsmanship, and historically informed design evident in his celebrated civic and institutional commissions, the house serves as a tangible reminder of the period in which Mediterranean and classical architectural traditions shaped South Florida's built environment and established a lasting standard of architectural excellence.

VEREA BARREL BLEND
"Casa De Ensueños" Palm Beach, Florida.

Casa de Ensueños in Palm Beach isn’t just a beautiful mansion—it’s a piece of history that helped create and define Palm Beach. We are proud to have our Grade 1 clay barrel tile on this iconic home.

Designed in 1928 by architect Addison Mizner, the visionary who shaped Palm Beach’s iconic look, this estate reflects the height of Mediterranean Revival style. Arches, courtyards, and seamless indoor-outdoor living—features that still define luxury homes in South Florida today.

Built during the late 1920s Florida land boom, Casa de Ensueños represents the moment Palm Beach transformed into an elite destination for wealthy seasonal residents. Homes like this shifted the social scene from hotels to private estates and set the tone for the area’s exclusivity.

Today, it stands as a surviving Mizner masterpiece—blending historic charm with modern updates, and reminding us how one architect’s vision helped define a community and an entire region.
