Our End-of-Season Cheerleading & Dance Showcase at Bucky Dent Park was a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and talent of every participant. Families and friends enjoyed exciting performances from both our Recreation and Competitive Cheerleading & Dance programs, as our athletes took the stage to showcase everything they learned throughout the season.

This past week, our young athletes took the next step in their journey during Hialeah Hurricanes Signing Day, proudly committing to their teams for the upcoming season. From official player and cheerleader signings to exciting free activities for the whole family, it was a day filled with smiles, team spirit, and unforgettable memories.

Looking for the perfect introduction to competitive cheer? Our Hialeah Sparkles program is designed for young athletes ages 4–6 to build confidence, learn cheer fundamentals, and have fun in a positive team environment! 💖📣

🌟 Season: June – April
👧 Ages: 4–6
💲 Only $45/month for Hialeah residents

Today, we proudly recognize four outstanding members of our Department of Parks and Community Engagement who have each reached an incredible milestone—25 years of service to our community.

For a quarter century, their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have helped enhance our parks, programs, and public spaces. Their hard work has made a lasting impact on our residents and earned the respect and appreciation of their colleagues throughout the years.

Twenty-five years of service is a remarkable achievement, and we are grateful for the passion, leadership, and quality of work they continue to bring each day.

Building the next generation of lifesavers! 🌊🛟

Today, our future lifeguards kicked off the summer season at Milander Aquatic Center with an intensive orientation designed to prepare them for success. Participants worked through realistic in-water emergency scenarios, received classroom instruction on department standards and expectations, and completed comprehensive tours of each of our aquatic facilities.

We are committed to ensuring our aquatic team is trained, prepared, and ready to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our community all summer long.

The future of aquatic safety starts here. 💪☀️
