Congratulations to members of the Hialeah Fire Department who were recognized for their exceptional service to our community and beyond. 🚒👏

Firefighter Jorge Lanz was recognized for his deployment to Venezuela, representing Hialeah Fire Department while serving communities in need.

Lieutenant Mark Sanchez, Firefighter Juan C. Cabrera Luna, and Firefighter Fernando Rodriguez were recognized for their actions during a structure fire where three victims were trapped inside. Through their quick response, teamwork, and dedication, all three victims were successfully rescued.

We are proud to recognize these firefighters for their professionalism, courage, and commitment to serving others.

Today, we had the privilege of participating in the City of Hialeah Parks, Recreation & Community Engagement Department's End-of-Summer Camp celebration. Our firefighters brought one of our quints to help cool everyone off by spraying water, creating an unforgettable experience filled with smiles, laughter, and fun for all the children.
The City of Hialeah Fire Department wishes every student a happy, safe, and successful back-to-school season. We are proud of our crew for doing an outstanding job keeping everyone safe while helping make this event a memorable one for our community.

Last Thursday marked the conclusion of a three-day training session for all Hialeah Fire Department firefighters on our new ZOLL cardiac monitors.
These state-of-the-art monitors represent the latest advancement in cardiac care technology, and we're proud that the Hialeah Fire Department is among the first in Miami-Dade County to put this cutting-edge equipment into service.
Investing in the best training and technology ensures our firefighters and paramedics are equipped to provide the highest level of emergency medical care. We're proud to bring these new units to our department so we can continue to better serve the residents and visitors of the City of Hialeah.

🎒📚 Back-to-School Ready!

Hialeah Fire Department was proud to join our community at Milander Park’s Ted Hendricks Stadium, where nearly 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to local students.

Yesterday, Hialeah Fire Department was proud to take part in the City of Hialeah’s Back-to-School event, sponsored by Gelien Perez and Melinda de la Vega . 🎒📚

It was a great opportunity to connect with our community and help distribute school supplies to local children as they prepare for a successful new school year.

The City of Hialeah Fire Department proudly welcomes Firefighter Jorge Lanz home following his eight-day deployment to Venezuela with Florida Urban Search & Rescue Task Force 2 (FL-TF2).

Alongside fellow members of FL-TF2 and other international search and rescue teams, Firefighter Lanz responded to the devastating earthquake that struck Venezuela.

As part of the international rescue effort, FL-TF2 helped locate and rescue multiple survivors, including a man who was pulled alive from the rubble after being trapped for eight days, along with several other survivors found during the ongoing search operations.

Yesterday evening, Hialeah Fire Department units responded to a Code 1 fire where three people were trapped inside due to heavy fire conditions and metal bars on the windows.

Q3 initiated fire suppression while R7 quickly located and rescued all three patients. Additional rescue units were called to the scene, and all three patients were transported to Palmetto Hospital for further evaluation.

Thanks to the fast and coordinated work of our crews, the fire was contained and extinguished with no extension to nearby structures.

Outstanding work by the men and women of the Hialeah Fire Department. Their actions helped save three lives.

🔥 Junkyard Fire Response 🔥

Companies responded to a junkyard fire involving a large pile of rubbish, go-karts, vehicles, and miscellaneous debris.

🚒 Engine 1 arrived first on scene and established command. Crews quickly deployed handlines and worked to contain the fire, preventing further extension throughout the yard.

Great work by all personnel operating in Zone 4 to bring the incident under control safely and efficiently.
