The school was built in 1924 and opened its doors on February 14th, 1925 which is why we are "the school with a heart".

South Hialeah Elementary is honored to recognize our very own Ms. Faraldo on Retiree Appreciation Day. This school year will be Ms. Faraldo’s last year before she begins her retirement and we will miss her dearly.
Ms. Faraldo has dedicated 32 years to working at South Hialeah Elementary. We commend her commitment and hard work in providing an exceptional educational experience to so many students over the years. While this moment is bittersweet, we all wish her a happy and fun filled retirement. Ms. Faraldo, thank you for everything and know you will always be part of our S.H.E. Family 🦈❤️
