You don't wanna miss Storytime this week! Visit Towns County Public Library in Hiawassee on Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:30AM. We'll be reading some DINO-mite books and painting dinosaur eggs!!

Starting June 9th, there's a new writing group meeting at Towns County Public Library in Hiawassee! ✍️

This isn't your typical writers' circle. Shut Up & Write!® is simple: free writing sessions where writers show up and write alongside each other. A facilitator will be there to help keep people on track.

You do not have to read your work aloud or have it critiqued. No experience necessary. Just bring your notebook or laptop to TCPL on Tuesdays at 1PM-2:30PM and get ready to write! (If you don't have a laptop but would like one, we have Chromebooks available for check out at the front desk.)

Need to get away from the rain? Come hang out at TCPL in Hiawassee on Thursday morning! Our toddler playgroup meets in the children's room at 10:30AM. Make friends, play with toys, and check out books! 🌧️

Here's what we've got going on in June at Towns County Public Library in Hiawassee! 🦖

Storytime will continue through the summer on Tuesdays at 10:30AM, unless it conflicts with an SRP event, of course! The same is true for Stay & Play on Thursdays at 10:30AM.

For adults, we've got Chi Gong on Fridays at 10AM as well as our non-fiction book club on the last Tuesday of the month at 5PM. We hope to see you this month!
