♻️ 4TH ANNUAL HIBBING COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP DAYS ♻️

It’s time to clear out, clean up, and beautify our community together!

The Hibbing Police Department invites residents to participate in the 4th Annual Hibbing Community Clean-Up Days on:

📅 June 5th & 6th
⏰ 8 AM – 4 PM
📍 Stuntz Garage: 1100 E 25th St, Hibbing, MN

✅ FREE resident drop-off

Accepted materials include:
• Tires (up to 24 inches)
• Scrap metal
• Garbage MSW (Mixed Solid Waste)
• Appliances (Microwaves and Freon)
• Mattresses (not waterlogged)
• Televisions
• General demolition debris

🚫 Materials NOT accepted:
Paint, oil, batteries, fire extinguishers, light bulbs, yard waste, and hazardous waste.

This position plays a key role in shaping Hibbing’s future by leading community and economic development initiatives, redevelopment efforts, strategic planning, housing and infrastructure projects, business development, and more. The Director also serves as the primary staff liaison to the Hibbing Economic Development Authority (HEDA) and works closely with City leadership, businesses, developers, and community partners.

Good news! Spring load restrictions are ending this week in St. Louis County.
Though note - it'll happen in phases. For roads in the North Central Zone - the far southwest corner of our county - restrictions will be lifted Wednesday (tomorrow). Meahwhile,estrictions end Friday for roads in the North Zone , which includes the vast majority of the county.

🥢🌱 A full house, great food, and a lot of fun at last night’s Spring Roll Making Class!

Our Parks & Recreation Department partnered with local restaurant The Bach Yen Garden Restaurant for a hands-on evening where nearly 30 participants learned how to make fresh spring rolls from scratch. From rolling techniques to choosing fillings and sauces, attendees enjoyed a unique experience while connecting with others in the community.

A big thank you to Bach Yen for helping make this event such a success!

This partnership is a great example of the kinds of creative opportunities we’d love to continue offering our residents. Whether it’s culinary classes, wellness programs, active experiences, arts, or other unique ideas, Hibbing Parks & Recreation is always open to collaborating with local businesses and organizations to bring new experiences to our community.
