The Hibbing National Guard was officially organized on May 14th 1908 as M Company, 3rd Regiment. National Guard drills were conducted at the Carnigie Library in Old North Hibbing and at the Hibbnig Memorial building until 1956 when construction on our current facility was completed. The men and women who serve in the Hibbing Guard have always been local citizens from the Iron Range area.
