A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the 2026 Chamber Golf Classic! We had another fantastic event with 36 teams, wonderful weather, and plenty of fun and friendly competition.

We are incredibly grateful to all of the businesses, sponsors, donors, and participants who helped make the day possible. Your generosity and support of the Chamber and our local business community mean so much!

A special thank you to the businesses and organizations who donated raffle baskets — they were a huge hit! Our popular putting green game was also a favorite, adding even more fun to the day.

Thank you to all of our tee box hosts for creating fun games and activities for the golfers, and to our countless volunteers who gave their time and energy to help with setup, registration, games, prizes, and everything in between.

A very special shout-out to Jeff Provinzino from High on the Hog BBQ for generously volunteering his time and talents to grill lunch for everyone. We truly appreciate you helping keep our golfers well-fed and happy!

And, of course, a heartfelt thank you to Mesaba Country Club for hosting us and helping provide such a wonderful setting for the day. We truly appreciate your hospitality and support!

Congratulations to the Hibbing Farmers Market on being selected as the Northeast Regional Spotlight Market for Minnesota during National Farmers' Market Week!

This recognition from the Minnesota Farmers' Market Association, in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Minnesota Grown, Minnesota Farmers Union, and the Land Stewardship Project, celebrates the incredible impact our local market has on supporting area farmers, strengthening community connections, and providing access to fresh, locally grown products.

What an incredible Jubilee weekend.

From the moment Business After Hours kicked things off on Thursday, to the crowds filling Howard Street for Sidewalk Sales, Hoops on Howard, the Car Show, the First Avenue Mile, Festival on Fifth, the Kids Carnival, our beloved Jubilee Parade, and an unforgettable Street Dance to close out the weekend, our community came together to celebrate everything that makes Hibbing special.

Seeing thousands of people downtown—families making memories, friends reconnecting, businesses bustling, volunteers lending a hand, and kids laughing is exactly what Jubilee is all about. Events like this don't happen because of one organization. They happen because an entire community believes in showing up for each other.

To everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, performed, competed, shopped, sponsored, and helped in countless ways—thank you. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and community spirit made this year's Jubilee one to remember.

Some traditions are simply too special to stay in the past.

After many years away, Hoops on Howard returned to downtown Hibbing, and seeing Howard Street transformed back into basketball courts during the 2026 Hibbing Jubilee was something truly special. Kids, adults, Prospectors, longtime players, and first-time participants all shared the courts, creating memories that reminded us why this event meant so much to our community.

The turnout was incredible, but what stood out even more was the excitement. Friends cheered each other on, families gathered downtown, and for one day, Howard Street belonged to the game once again. It felt like a tradition had found its way home.

A heartfelt thank you goes to James Plese., whose dedication made this event possible. James spent countless hours organizing pool play, creating brackets, designing the court layouts, helping with setup, keeping the tournament running smoothly—and after all of that, he even laced up his shoes and played!

Thank you to ISD 701 for your partnership and support. Thank you to the City of Hibbing and Hibbing Public Utilities for helping with the setup of the basketball hoops, and to the Hibbing Fire Department for filling the water tanks for the backboards. A special thank you also goes to Mike Egan and the rest of the volunteers. for all of your help with setup.
