Hickam Fire Department

Hickam Fire Department Established 1939 with the US Army and ended with the US Air Force October 2010 when Hickam FD became part of the Federal FD when it became Joint Base PHH.

Hickam Fire Department became history after Hickam AFB became a joint base with Naval Base of Pearl Harbor. Some of the services that were provided to the community:
ARFF (Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting), Structural Fire Fighting, Emergency Medical Service (MICT - Mobile Intensive Care Technician or Hawaii State Paramedics), Fire Prevention and Public Education, Fire Extinguisher Services, Military Fire Fighter PRIME BEEF, Fire Alarm Communication Center (aka 911 PSAP) and Water Rescue Services.

Hickam FD annual Christmas reunion at Ruby Tuesdays In Moanalua. Mahalo for everyone who was there and making this event another memorable gathering to remember. Newly promoted Battalion Chief Justin Sabio gave an opening speech remembering his early days at Hickam. Mahalo nui to all the photographers who sent in their pics, George Crowder, Paul Sugita, and Baldy and his daughter Cencia. First time to see Steve and Mio’s super cute grandson. He’s going w be a heart throb ❤️ I pesoonally hope to see everyone again next year for this awesome reunion! Merry Christmas and a great New Years in 2026!
