The Hickman Chamber of Commerce offers a big "congratulations" on another successful school year in the Fulton County School System....over 40 Senior Pilots received their diplomas this year at graduation....thank you to all Principals, teachers, assistants, coaches, bus drivers and food service members, who work hard to provide the best for all of our students on a daily bases.....thank you goes out to Superintendent Ellen Murphy, the school board staff and board members for the guidance and decisions made that prepares our students for successful futures.....we are proud of our school system and what it means to our community!

Work is underway again this morning at the new grocery store site in Hickman....I was told they will be digging the hole today to place the fuel tanks....One step at a time in bringing this service back to the community...

Update... this event has been canceled due to rain

Due to inclement weather- the Summer Feeding Kick-off has been canceled for this evening.

Summer Feeding will begin this Thursday!!

Okay kids...this is going to be a great event at Jeff Green Memorial Park....hopefully the rain will stay away this afternoon....come out an have a good supper, play on the inflatables and enjoy some games...a big "thank you" goes out to everyone responsible for putting this program together, which insures our youngsters have adequate food and nutrition during the Summer months!

The Hickman Chamber of Commerce thanks those who participated in the Memorial Day service held at the Veterans Monument on Monday morning. The event included prayer, the guest speaking of Jeff Wilkerson and Post Commander Allen Craddock, the placement of a wreath by James Coffey, Hal Coffey and Thomas Cooley, and the reading of the names of all 96 local soldiers killed in action.

Following today's Memorial Day service at the Veterans Monument, a group photo was taken. We are very appreciative of our community members for taking time to honor and pay respects for local soldiers who lost their lives on the battlefield. It was a great day for fellowship and remembrance in Hickman.
