During National Police Week, we’ve been reminded once again how incredible the Hickory Creek community truly is.

A huge thank you to the local Girl Scouts for stopping by and delivering an amazing assortment of Girl Scout cookies for our officers and staff. Your kindness, support, and thoughtfulness mean more than you know, and the cookies definitely didn’t last long around the department!

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to B&O Towing for generously providing cases of water and sweet treats for our team. Your continued support for law enforcement and our community is greatly appreciated.

It’s gestures like these that remind us why we are proud to serve this community every single day. Thank you for standing behind your Hickory Creek Police Department during National Police Week and throughout the year. 💙🚓🍪

During National Police Week, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible support we receive from our community and business partners.

A big thank you to our friends at Racetrac Hickory Creek for the awesome Police Week cake and for taking the time to show appreciation for our officers and staff. Gestures like this mean a great deal to our department and remind us how fortunate we are to serve such a supportive community.

We are proud to stand alongside the men and women in law enforcement across the country this week as we honor those who serve and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Thank you, Racetrac Hickory Creek, for your kindness and continued support.

🚔 National Police Week | Community Message Board 🚔

Next week, during National Police Week, the Hickory Creek Police Department will set up a community message board inside the Town Hall for the entire week.

We would love for members of our community to stop by and leave a message for the men and women in law enforcement — past, present, and future. Whether it’s a simple thank-you, words of encouragement, a prayer, a memory, or a message of support, we would be honored to fill the board with positivity from the community we proudly serve.

Law enforcement can be a challenging profession, and kind words from the public truly mean more than most people realize.

💙The message board will remain up all week during national police week.
📍 Location: Hickory Creek Town Hall

We invite everyone in our community to stop by and help us fill the board with encouragement, appreciation, and support.

From all of us at HCPD — thank you for allowing us to serve this community every day.

As more people head out to the lakes, pools, and waterways, we want everyone to enjoy their time and make it home safely.

Please keep a close eye on the children. Don’t assume someone else is watching them. Drowning happens quickly and quietly.

Wear a life jacket, know your limits, and don’t mix alcohol with water activities. A little awareness goes a long way.

Have fun, take care of each other, and let's keep Hickory Creek safe this summer.

Happy Monday, Hickory Creek! 😊

Starting the week off with a quick friendly reminder:

Stop signs mean a complete stop🛑

That means coming to a full stop behind the line or before the intersection, just for a moment, then looking both ways before continuing when it’s safe.

We know everyone’s got places to be, but taking that extra second helps keep our roads safe for neighbors, families, and everyone sharing the street.

A quick pause can make a big difference. 💙

Let’s all do our part to keep Hickory Creek safe and welcoming.
Have a great (and safe) week!

Have You Seen the New Motor Unit Around Town?

HCPD’s newest addition is already making its way through the community.

The motor unit enhances our ability to be more visible, accessible, and engaged while on patrol. It’s another step in strengthening our connection with the community we serve.

If you see us out, feel free to give a wave.
