Yesterday was a powerful reminder that every person has a story, every conversation matters, and every encounter is an opportunity to share the love of Christ.

We are praising God for each man, woman, and child we had the privilege of meeting and serving. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to be Your hands and feet in our community and for allowing us to witness hope, courage, and resilience firsthand.

This. This is what Camping for a Cause is all about.

Meeting people exactly where they are. Sharing the love of Christ without conditions. Offering a meal, a conversation, a prayer, a listening ear—and a reminder that hope is never out of reach.

Every person who walks through these doors has a story. Today, we’re honored to remind them that their story matters, they are loved, and there is hope for tomorrow.

Would you believe that within the first hour of Camping for a Cause, we had already served 52 men, women, and children experiencing homelessness?

That’s 52 individuals who walked away with clothing, shoes, food, and the opportunity to encounter prayer, worship, and a community that cares.

And if that number doesn’t capture your attention, we invite you to stop by and meet some of the incredible people we serve. Behind every number is a story of resilience, hardship, hope, and courage—and we’re willing to bet those stories will stay with you long after today ends.

Join us. Listen. Learn. Be part of the solution.

Let that sink in for a moment.

In Catawba County, 32 families with children were experiencing homelessness during the most recent Point-in-Time Count.

Thirty-two families. Thirty-two stories. Thirty-two families facing uncertainty about where they would sleep, how they would provide for their children, and what tomorrow might bring.

Today, we aren't just raising awareness—we're reminding our community that homelessness has a face, a name, and a story. Behind every statistic is a mother trying to provide stability, a child longing for a safe place to sleep, and a family searching for hope.

As we spend today Camping for a Cause, we invite you to become part of the solution. Together, we can help ensure more families have access to the support, resources, and opportunities they need to move forward.

Just 2 days to go! ⛺

Camping for a Cause is almost here, and we can't wait to come together as a community to raise awareness about homelessness and support the women and children we serve every day.

Can't make it to the event? You can still be part of the impact by donating bottled water. During the summer months, access to water isn't just appreciated—it's essential.

Every case helps. Every donation matters. Every act of kindness makes a difference.
