8/30/26 Field Fire

At approximately 2:52 p.m. CSFD units were dispatched to an hay field that caught fire behind a residence on KY 483. Brush units 1181/1182 quickly responded to extinguish the blaze along with Tankers 1171/1172. The farmers equipment was not damaged due to the fire and very little hay was destroyed.

8/20/26 Storm Damage

CSFD Units spent the night clearing roadways from the overnight storms. Please be cautious on your commute as some roads may only have one lane open. Also, please be patient with power crews as these storms had a widespread impact on utilities in our area.

7/30/26 Pump Operations Training

This evening firefighters from both Clear Springs and Symsonia participated in a joint training on pump operations and water supply. Newer members got to see some technical pumper in action and seasoned members got to test their skills. This type of training behind the scenes helps to ensure a seamless working relationship when the call comes out!

07/11/26 Residential Structure Fire

At approximately 2:45 a.m. CSFD units were dispatched for mutual aid to Tanna Shae Ln in Symsonia for a working house fire.
Engine 1152 and Tankers 1171/1172 responded to assist with fire suppression and extinguishment.
As always, we are happy to help our neighboring districts.

06/06/26 Vehicle fire with entrapment

At approximately 9:49 p.m. CSFD units were dispatched to a single vehicle collision in the 5000 block of KY 131. While engines 1151/1152 were responding, the collision was upgraded to a fire with one occupant inside the vehicle. CSFD Units on scene, along with law enforcement and EMS personnel, were able to extinguish the fire and extricate the patient for transport.
