Hicksville Police Department

Hicksville Police Department Police services are provided twenty four hours, seven days a week. Patrol area consists of 2,465 square miles and 23.75 miles of streets.

The Hicksville Police Department is comprised of eight full time sworn police officers, two sworn part time patrolmen, two sworn auxiliary officers and one civilian office employee. Business office hours at the Hicksville Police Department are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Emergency and non-emergency calls are received and dispatched through the Defiance County Communications Center, located in Defiance, Ohio.

Heads Up: T-Storm Watch May Be Issued Soon ⚡️

NWS has highlighted Toledo and points west for a possible watch ahead of storms.

Geeky thoughts:

The atmosphere is becoming more favorable for stronger thunderstorms across the region later this afternoon and evening, including northwest Ohio.

Storms are beginning to develop farther west and should increase in coverage and intensity as they move east toward our area.

The main storm threat is damaging wind gusts, potentially around 50–60 mph in the strongest storms. Large hail is also possible. The tornado risk is low, although a brief spin-up can’t completely be ruled out.

These storms should fade quickly east of I-75 as they outrun moisture and daytime heating.
