Hicksville Police Department

Hicksville Police Department Police services are provided twenty four hours, seven days a week. Patrol area consists of 2,465 square miles and 23.75 miles of streets.

The Hicksville Police Department is comprised of eight full time sworn police officers, two sworn part time patrolmen, two sworn auxiliary officers and one civilian office employee. Business office hours at the Hicksville Police Department are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Emergency and non-emergency calls are received and dispatched through the Defiance County Communications Center, located in Defiance, Ohio.

"Official fireworks set off time will be @ 9:45pm tonight in the park. Back part of ball diamond parking lot towards the pavilion may be used to watch. Rest of the parking will be barricaded off so please find parking that will benefit the view of the fireworks. Please pass this information on.. thanks in advance."

Heritage Days Event.

A K-9 demonstration scheduled for the Rotary Pavilion today at 3:30 has been cancelled due to inclement weather forecasts at the time of the event. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are currently exploring alternatives and plan to host a similar event in July.

Heritage Days Parade Friday June 5th at 6pm.

Parade starts at Fairgrounds entrance on S. Main Street to E High Street to N Maple Street to E. Smith Street to N Main Street back toward Fairgrounds. (Reverse Order from Last year Parade)

We ask that all parked cars on the street of E Smith Street between Main and Maple Street be removed by 5 pm on the day of parade and can resume parking back on street after parade.

All cars parked on N. Maple St between Smith and High Street to do the same.

No parking in those areas from 5pm until parade is over

Due to a water main break in the 700 block of Spencerville, multiple residences may not have water. Village workers are actively working to repair the line. Crews will not know how long the repair will take until they dig down to the damaged line.
