The **Hidalgo Police Department** is proud to welcome **Driscoll Children’s Hospital**, **Dr. Maryann Alvarez-Griffis**, and her dedicated care team to the Hidalgo community!

Today, our department had the opportunity to learn about some **exciting new services and resources** that will help support our officers and strengthen our response during police investigations—especially when cases involve children and vulnerable victims.

This partnership represents another important step in bringing together **law enforcement, medical professionals, and specialized resources** to better serve our community and help ensure that victims receive the care, support, and attention they deserve.

We are grateful to Dr. Alvarez-Griffis and the entire Driscoll Children’s Hospital team for taking the time to meet with us and for their commitment to supporting law enforcement and the families we serve.

**School Safety Starts With Partnership! 🚔🏫**

The Hidalgo Police Department would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the **Hidalgo ISD Public Relations Team** for allowing us to participate alongside their staff and students in a school safety video.

We are proud to work together with Hidalgo ISD to promote safety, awareness, and preparedness throughout our schools. Most importantly, we appreciate the opportunity to engage with our students and help reinforce the importance of making safe choices and knowing what to do in an emergency.

Mientras disfrutan de las festividades, por favor recuerden celebrar con responsabilidad. **Nunca conduzcan bajo los efectos del alcohol.** Si planean consumir alcohol, designen a un conductor sobrio, utilicen un servicio de transporte compartido o tomen las medidas necesarias para regresar a casa de manera segura.
